What does the process look like?

The training and licensing process usually takes three to six months. This period of time includes training and home preparation. After licensing and training are completed, children may be placed in your home. Annual continuing education to enhance skills is also required.

The support that is provided:

  • Monthly reimbursement for food, clothing, housing, and transportation.

  • Medical card for each child to cover health care and prescriptions.
