Jennifer Pacheco is a Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW) and Registered Play Therapist (RPT) with over 20 years of experience working with children and adolescents, primarily between the ages of 3 and 12. For the past five years, she has focused on school-based therapy, collaborating closely with educators, families, and communities to support children's mental health and well-being.
Jennifer specializes in Child Centered Non-Directive Play Therapy (CCPT) and integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution Focused (SF) approaches to address the unique needs of her clients. She is deeply committed to the transformative power of play, recognizing that children are the experts of their own experiences. Jennifer's therapeutic approach allows children to express themselves freely, build self-esteem, develop healthy coping mechanisms, and learn valuable communication and problem-solving skills.
With extensive experience helping children and families navigate challenges such as anxiety, depression, attachment disorders, trauma, ADHD, and behavioral issues, Jennifer strives to create a safe and supportive space for healing and growth. By employing the latest research-based techniques, she empowers children to uncover their inner strengths and resources to facilitate lasting change.
