Wild 5k Run/Walk on May 26, 2018!

GO WILD for Bethany for Children & Families! Registration is open for the 2018 Wild 5k Run/Walk, taking place on Saturday, May 26 at 8:00 AM.

Organized by Running Wild in Davenport and presented by UnityPoint Health – Trinity, this Cornbelt Running Club circuit race is a Memorial Day institution in the Quad Cities area that travels through scenic Bettendorf neighborhood streets featuring lightly rolling hills and smooth running surfaces. The out-and-back course begins and ends at UnityPoint Health – Trinity, located at 4500 Utica Ridge Road in Bettendorf, and the post-race party will be held at the hospital’s Healing Garden, where food and refreshments will be provided. Awards will be presented to overall male and female participants, as well as the first three placers in twelve age groups.

Registration is $26.00 if registered by May 21 and $30.00 after May 21. All paid entrants are guaranteed a short-sleeve ASICS CoolMax t-shirt. Packet pickup is 10 AM to 7 PM on Friday, May 25 at Running Wild, located at 3216 North Brady Street in Davenport. On race day, May 26, packets may be picked up in the hospital cafeteria between 6:30 AM and 7:45 AM. Running Wild can be reached at (563) 323-7025.

All race proceeds will benefit the programs and services of Bethany for Children & Families, a private mental health, community education, and child welfare service provider serving western Illinois and eastern Iowa.
