Five Students Graduate from Phoenix Day Treatment Program

On May 17, 2018, five students graduated from the Bethany Black Hawk Phoenix Day Treatment Program. Phoenix offers special education and case management services to at-risk youth in the Quad Cities.

“A lot of you guys have been here for many years now, and it’s great to see all the progress you’ve made,” said Neil Shipley, a caseworker at Phoenix.

All of these students overcame their personal struggles to graduate from high school with help from the amazing Phoenix staff.

“Before Phoenix, I was getting into some trouble. They helped me with my anger, and they helped me communicate better,” said Tony, one of the graduates.
