Bethany for Children & Families held its annual The Next Step conference on April 20, 2018. Nearly 100 local high school girls attended the free conference, which was held at Western Illinois University - Quad Cities Campus. The purpose of the conference is to empower girls and help with their journey into adulthood and the next phase of their lives.
Thank you so much to all of the speakers, volunteers, chaperones, and organizers who made the conference a success. Special thanks to Jasmine Babers, founder and editor of Love, GIRLS Magazine, who acted as keynote speaker, and Kyla Milton for providing lunchtime entertainment.
