On November 2, 2017, Bethany for Children & Families hosted its Family Awards Celebration to honor the exceptional community members who are dedicated to improving the lives of children in the Quad Cities. Bethany is very fortunate to work with such amazing people!
The Ruth Evelyn Katz Adoptive Family of the Year award was presented to Les & Elizabeth Butler. This award honors an adoptive family that shows a strong commitment to strengthening and encouraging an adopted child’s growth. This award honors any adoptive family structure.
Travis and Tina Eygabroad received the Foster Family of the Year award. This award honors a family that creates a safe home for children who have been displaced. The foster family exhibits extraordinary courage, patience, and care while working with foster children.
Dr. Jacquelyn Richardson received the Community Champion of the Year award. This award honors an individual, business, or organization that demonstrates compassion and dedication to the Quad Cities community.
