Does Bethany distribute Goodwill vouchers?
Yes. The agency partners with Goodwill of the Heartland and distributes Goodwill vouchers on Friday afternoons at the Moline office from 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM. We do not offer vouchers at our other locations. Please be prepared to present photo identification and current proof of address, such as a recent cell phone bill, utility bill, or lease or rental agreement. Vouchers are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Two vouchers are available per household every 60 days. You must be present to obtain a voucher.

Does Bethany provide housing?
While Bethany does offer temporary housing services, the agency is not a shelter and does not provide immediate housing. Please call (309) 797-7700 for more information.

Can Bethany help me pay rent?
Bethany does not have a rent assistance program.

Does Bethany accept in-kind donations of furniture and appliances?
Bethany accepts in-kind donations and distributes, free of charge, gently used furniture, beds, dressers, appliances, and other household items to families in need via their case managers. Please call (309) 797-7700 if you would like to donate items.

Can Bethany help me obtain furniture?
Bethany works with case managers at over fifty agencies and organizations throughout the Quad Cities to provide furniture, free of charge, to those in need. Individuals or families who are in need of furniture must have their case managers contact Bethany on their behalf. Case managers may call (309) 797-7700 for more information.

Does Bethany accept donations of used clothing or plush toys?
Bethany does not accept donations of used plush toys. Bethany no longer runs a clothing shelter but may accept donations of used clothing. Please call (309) 797-7700 for more information.
